Engine start?

Wonder if there is a way to strip the functional part off of the open cockpit engine start switches and use them on the FDS IBL board?  Kind of like Scott's functionality but without all the work?
Less than 4 years to retirement......

That's exactly what I've done with mine. I bought the overhead without the starter switches and then bought the OC switches.

Making them fit the O/H was easy enough, altho the holes were slightly misaligned (the knob covers the misalignment).

They are all installed, but I just havn't hooked up the electrics or set-them up with SIOC yet.
