I see a lot of you are raving about P3D v3.  I've decided I will take advantage of this move and the rebuild to move over to P3D.  My current system specs are below in my sig.

I'm itching to build a new system for my new build and sim software and transition the current one to my MIP.

I'm looking for advice on the following, keeping in mind that I want to run P3D v3 on the system and I want a minumum of 40FPS over add-on airports with traffic and weather.

-CPU
-Motherboard
-RAM
-Graphics card(s) (to output 3 x Projectors, 1 x Lower DU).  SLI???
-Cooling

Thoughts?

A quick recommendation would be that you might not get the performance out of the 670 graphics card you desire.  We recently purchased a Radeon W8100 to drive 4 projectors.  We like it a lot, but still only get 30 fps in dense environments.  Also, we are seeing texture loading delays with it since it has just 8 gig of video memory.  You may want to consider going to a card that has 16 gig.

It's my understanding that SLI does not really get you the rendering performance most expect in P3D.  I have been told that the SLI configuration is great for CAD work and high GPU "computing" needs, but not so good for pure rendering tasks. All hear-say, so your own experimentation would need to be done.
