Hello Everyone,

I'm looking at buying a Phidgets Led 64 control card for 737NG Forward Overhead annunciators. My question is, will one card do the job?

You will need 2 for the overhead. There is around 100 annunciators on the fwd overhead depending on options

Thanks a million mickc. I will order two.

I am using Phidgets as well in my OH. I will have to check which cards I am using but the txt file will be pretty much the same. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks Bob. Will certainly keep you in mind.

I have several panels in the mail now and will be installing one or two panels at a time, aiming at those I use the most. First three panels will be the power bus/apu, pneumatics  and fuel. I also have a complete gauge panel set coming for overhead. I make all my own gauges but decided to save time and order the face plates. My gauges are not commercial quality but they work fine and the cost is very cheap. Basically a servo, several 50mm squares of plexi and standoffs with led strip backlighting. The way I look at it, if I am happy with how things are, it's good enough :)  and of course I always tell myself..  prototype, I will revisit when time allows,  but time never does lol.

Would love to see what you are doing with the gauges! I am just getting into programing the Arduino. Fun times!  :-*

Hi Bob,

My homemade gauges are very very basic but they allow me to spend on things I can't build or make myself. I dont have deep pockets lol. I followed Ian Sissons Gauge tutorial  - Bless His Soul - (        http://www.737ng.co.uk/Gauges.pdf                ) and printout gauge faces on inkjet sticky paper.

A short youtube of my MIP home made gauges. At the time of the video only Yaw Damper and Brake Pressure were active. I have now connected the flaps gauge and it works great as well. I'm still looking for a source for gauge bezels. For the flaps gauge I cut a thin piece of pvc plumbers pipe, but haven't found a suitable bezel sized piece for the other two yet.

I had tried to post a bunch of pictures of how I made them, but I think they were too big for upload, 1 mb each or so and I had about 10 of them. Site didnt take it though.
