Hi guys I am looking at ACE 737 yoke to buy. I have read some pretty disturbing review about how he has taken many peoples money and not delivered on the product.

Is this true?

Trevor Hale

Yes it is true. Search this forum and you will find many threads.

What a shame. Good thing I do research before purchasing. Ok so is there any options away from building one yourself

quid246

Get a real yoke (or dualies).... probably easier to interface than building one from scratch.

jdavz1

obviously that would be ideal, they are very expensive ad then having to wire it all up to suit and connect to FSX, I would rather buy pre made ones, but if thats what I have to do then I will do it :)

Jason, if you don't want a dual linked yoke and are happy with a single ace yoke, you can cut Ali out of the picture and buy one from the aviationmegastore in the Netherlands, just checked they have 4 available now, shipping is a bit to OZ but you going to have to get used to that in building a sim :)

fsaviator

PC Pilot magazine had an ad in it this month for this company (never heard of them before so I can't vouch for them, but who knows?):

A single Ace yoke is $1400... you can get a pair of real Boeing ones for about that or slightly cheaper.

Even if you only wanted one you are probably talking $800 or so... that leaves you $600 to wire it up, and you won't need that much to wire it up... so you can go spend the rest on your next OEM part. :)

actually in real  money 1500.00 (which is top dollar) gives you a linked pair with enough wire will not look like they just left the line but I personally like things worn in  :-)

jdavz1

very true, I do want real parts, but I am pressed for work space and no change in that situation in the near future.

Fantastic find  fsaviator thanks

If you buy an ACE yoke... then buy either used through eBay or have someone local deal with ACE... COD.

Read the other thread please.

jdavz1

No need to read anything. I'm avoiding ACE at all costs and I've found 2 other quality products so far and of course building one myself which I could do I'm choosing not to

737man

Which other 2 products did you find?
