Ray, they're really not that hard to find.  I just called Simco and talked to a very nice lady in sales. :)
There's no minimum quantity.

Here's their price breakdown:

1 - 9:    $22
10-49:  $16.50
50-99:  $11.00
100-249: $8.80
250-399: $7.15
400-599: $5.50

She had more breaks, but I figured that would be enough. :)

The unit I asked for pricing on is the 2022-709 and the data sheet can be found here: http://www.simcoaftermarket.com/assets/pdf/simco_2022-7XX-G.pdf

FYI, I just placed the order for my OLED/Air-Core driver boards from Osh Park.  As soon as they let me know they're off to manufacturing, I'll order the L293DD drivers from Mouser.

I still have some work to do on the printed gauge core, but that shouldn't take long to wrap up.

Thanks Joe but I am SO done with 'making things' :-) I'm not getting any younger so having these things pre-built makes a big difference. Opportunity cost..
