No idea, nothing as far as I know has changed unless Trevor has changed something. I have not even gone into the admin area. It happened to me this morning for the first time. What are you guys using for a browser?

And I am using Chrome so it is something on the forum as we are all using different browsers. Will look into it.

Explorer, Ditto to fordgt40. I was logged in on arrival from my favourites page but was reverted to guest after 5 seconds.
Yes it seems I automatically log in but when I read a post or PM it logs me out.
It happened to me too and I couldn't remember the password! Had to do the email thing...

Mine auto-logged in ok just now...
I just replied to a PM, the system asked me to log in again and then came up...
"Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."
Logged back in and the reply had gone... Even paging back to try to recover it failed.
Getting annoying now. >:(
I haven't made any changes, But I am on the case..

Preformed maintenance on the database, Hoping it will solve the issue, and turned off the "Persistant connection" Let me know if your issues seem to have been solved, or they still exist..

LOL I did the same thing in fact just came here to post that I had not had a connection issue since I did that this morning. Let us know if you still have issues.

I had it bomb out on me several times in one session earlier... Have you checked in the admin logs... errors with session failures usually get logged in there which might give an indication what was going wrong. I've run a SMF forum for over 4 years and we did have a database issue the one time that had problems causing it to keep forcing us to log in... For the life of me I cannot remember what I did to fix it.
There is one case that changing the name of the cooking in the admin section fixed it. The good news is that it seems to be working OK atm.

Ok maybe we got it. Trevor and I both did the same thing and it seems to have been connected to the database.
I also made a change to the length of the cookie, lets see if it holds.

It's weird when I first open up the homepage I'm logged in but when I go to read a post it says to log in?
Damn... did it to me again just.
logged me out on IE8, still logged in on Dolphin Browser on the android.
Thats strange has not logged me out all day........
As discussed on the main page, we are aware of the issue, and the fix for the issue. I will make a second attempt to fix it on Friday during the day.
