Title: 737 Manuals and Checklists Found
Post by: NeoMorph on March 01, 2011, 09:28:58 AM
While hunting around the net looking for a Flight Crew Operating Manual for an ATR 72 I came across a site that had one... But not only for the ATR... they also had several manuals for a 737 too.

http://sheva.ic.cz/downloads.htm

A lot of the links are broken but the 737 ones are intact including the manual for a Continental 737 that is 2240 pages long. LOADS of info for sim builders/flyers. There is also a 737 Quick Reference Handbook that has checklists in it (which I have seen some of you ask for in the past).

Enjoy.

....and if you look hard enough there are some copies of the 737 cockpit companion in .pdf form places.  Then again, its much more handy in book form for reference :)

Thanks for the link.
There are even some newer versions of different 737NG manuals out there in the web.
Check:

PMDG is another source...  :idiot:

Generally, this site is very helpful:

Somewhere I found a PDF copy of Walt Blake´s (Boeing´s) "Jet transport performance methods", 2009 edition. That´s an extremely well written book  on all the technical aspects of aircraft performance narrated in a casual and lively way. I can´t locate the web site at the moment, will look into that.

We have some stuff in our download section, if I can get it back up and running again LOL.

Something else to add to the list.

A lot of the time I've found the problem isn't so much searching but figuring out the right terminology for the search engine. I would have saved loads of hours if I had known to search for FCOM or Flight Crew Operating Manual. Maybe a listing of good search queries would help reduce research time? Just an idea.
