Title: Looking for a High Res photo of 737 O/H
Post by: 727737Nut on November 30, 2015, 03:41:35 PM
Hi all,
I want to make a couple of dummy gauges to fill the cabin climb and cabin altitude panel.  Just need those 2 if someone has a a high res photo that I can print out.  Appreciate it!

Rob

I have the gauge artwork for those in vector format, PM me your email address and I will shoot it through. :)

Thank Gwyn!  That will work.  Till I find a real one in the future.  The cabin climb is very very rare since they haven't changed in the entire run of 737's  Parts places hold onto them.

I have had a few requests for these so i will just post them here

Rob, note that these are for the NG, the main difference being the red-line on the cabin pressure.   NG is 9.1 PSI vs Classics at 8.65 PSI

I have some more, I will dig them out.  Also if another format is needed, I can do that too.

In addition, Rob I think I may have an actual -300  cabin pressure gauge, I will dig in the magic boxes and see what I can find. :)

I believe I also have a cabin pressure gauge.  I can't get to it until February when my stuff gets delivered in Washington.

Just sharing a way to make the best out of dummy gauges:

Pics are self explaining.
Use a PVC/ABS pipe cap
a few grain of wheat bulbs 5V
And most important use a real pointer on top of the print.

Why not add a servo to the needle and make the gauge work with an Open Cockpits USB Servo card? Gauges are simple creatures!! Cheers Gwyn

I agree!!  See my post on Cabin Climb gauge.  ;)  I would go with an arduino for FSX, FS9, or P3D and Teensy for X-Plane over OC stuff any day, 12.00 arduino, 2.00 gauge stepper and any single needle gauge is cake!!!!
