Hi all,

I've spent some time flying Nick1150's sim now, and I am close to sold on transitioning to FSX when I get home.  As I move my sim, and rebuild, it is the perfect opportunity to upgrade.  What I'm trying to find out is the following:

What 737-800 flight model is the most accurate in FSX, using Prosim logic, and OC Hardware/SIOC, with a REVSIM TQ?

Thanks!

hi mate im using fsx with ifly and pro sim. its running ok just a few little problems such as when coming on to approach   every now and then the aircraft will drop too fast so you have to turn a/p off and fly it in manual, but thats only every so often, on the ifly forum they are saying ifly is going to develop a builder ifly for us so fingers crossed.

Thanks for the input.  This is exactly what I'm looking for.  It's one of this things...  I'm putting a lot of time, effort, and money, to build this cockpit and I don't want to mar the experience with little issues in the flight model.

Like others, I've been waiting and waiting for PMDG NGX.  It doesn't appear we will see that released until the real NG is a classic and completely retired from service.  I'm moving on in the build and dropping any reliance on aircraft specific logic unless needed.

Thanks again,

Warren

Just to throw a spanner in the works, one of our writers has the new PMDG 737NG beta and I must say the screenshots look spectacular.
Sadly we still don't have a release date but if it's in beta it should only be a couple of months away, let's hope it's been worth the looooonnngg wait  :)

Cheers

i couldn't wait any longer for pmdg so went with ifly, been talking to marty from prosim thats nearly out of beta aswell and the price system is perfect. ive never used pm so i dont no what thats like, but prosim runs great with the aircraft now as i found out why i was dropping on approach my flaps wasnt config-ed to my speed,......

fsaviator

Thanks Steven,

Are you referencing speeds and other data from real manuals, or from the iFly manuals?

Then again, I haven't compared the iFly manuals with real ones...  they may be the same.

i think they are about the same. my problem was i was landing with too much fuel on as i mostly fly from north of England to the south and put 100% fuel in so i was coming into land to fast but i fixed it now. i don't even think ill consider buying pmdg now as ive got ifly fully configed in fsuc and prosim... plus you get a 30 day money back with ifly so you got nothing to lose

If you use PM or SimA for real smooth instruments and next to load on the FS PC, I think you should concentrate on airplanes with no fancy systems which are aimed at desktop users.
