Anyone building a fighter cockpit?

Bob,

I definately have ambitions to build a fighter pit. I have always wanted to do an F-15 or F-18 with a two place config. Would be very cool I think.

Well my first cockpit was a fighter. Not much of one. I have a real room issue right now and I think this would get me by. Nothing fancy I just want to throw it together so I can fly it. The F-18 looks to be what I will loosely base this project on and when I say loosely I mean loosely!! I don't think there will even be any "panels" just going to drill holes and mount switches. I have tried to fly from a desktop setup and I just can't do it! So we will see what happens..

Take a look at DCS Combat Sim, on that page there are some great tips on making an A-10 pit. Some great stuff there. The A-10C is really nice and there is a guy who producted plans for a pretty accurate pit.

I just need a puter that will run it.

I see Viperpits.org is down. Anyone have any news on this?
