With the upcoming "Cockpitbuilders GET-2-Gether" Just around the corner it would only be appropriate to gather some Hype for the event. Without giving away too much information, Keep an eye here for the results of a very special contest that will take place during my Seminar on Sunday June 3rd.  What could the contest be exactly..?  Well I can't go into specific details, but what I can say is that the group that wins will have Bragging rights until the next Get together, And those bragging rights will be something they should be very proud of.  Stay tuned for more on this subject as the weekend progresses.

Perfect timing on this! >:(
Yesterday I ordered a glare shield kit from FDS. And now you guys are stomping around the FDS shop, getting Peter and Steve drunk, realigning tools...

If my glare shield turns up crooked, I know who to hunt down to rearrange their teeth!!!!

Have a great weekend, folks! I wish I could be there with you!  :)

Ok, We didn't get a chance to do this, as we had a lot more people then I had initially anticipated however... If you would like to check this out.... Print the attached and see how well it flies...

Now I understand why your landings in my sim looked more like a controlled crash  . Undoubtedly you were thinking you were at the controls of your paper airplane  ;D

Wish you could have been with us too Vidar, It was a blast.  I really hope it wasn't your glare kit that I mistakenly sat on.

mistakenly you say??  Looked more like a very deliberate action to me.

What were you saying at the time? "If I can't have one neither can he" or something lake that. ;D

Ah, now I understand the invoice better!

"
Glare shield kit, Hale version: CAD 999
Maurice fee, 12 Molson Dry: CAD 200
...
"

Great that you guys helped Peter pack my Glare kit, IKEA style! That is, VERY flat packaging! :D

I would've loved to be there. Considering the enormous amount of BS Maurice and I have posted in the forums, it would've been a true stand up comedy act! :D

vidarf

BTW: if a paper plane contest had been arranged with me present, I would've won. I would've just taped a tiny party rocket to the thing! I did that once, and got at least 400 meters of flight!
Paper aircraft with JATO! :D
