Warbird pits?

Anybody here building pits of warbirds, WW2 to modern 'pits? I'm making plans for a P-47 pit, but still am waiting for the Smithsonian to send me a copy of the microfilm containing engineering drawings for the cockpit to fill in for the drawings I don't have.

if I was ever to do a war bird pit it would have to be WWI that would be a lot of fun

I built one based on a B-17. It started out as a generic pit which I modified.

Then I redesigned and completely rebuilt it to be more specific to the B-17.  I had space limitations, so I had to make it a single seat, and had to make some compromises.

That sir is  NICE sim! I have worked on 2 real B-17s over the years. Fuddy Duddy and The Movie Memphis Belle Both where at a close museum. I love that aircraft!
