Anyone in the Lewis-McChord/Olympia area of Washington state?

I just found out my next assignment will be at Fort Lewis.  I will be arriving in the summer of 2016.  I don't think they could have gotten me further from both my home in Colorado and my home in Greece without actually shipping me to the Far East.

Oh well.  I hope my new job there will provide opportunity to get over to Australia and visit the crazy simmers there too.

I'm about a 2 hour drive coming from Seattle!

That's great Ray!  Seattle isn't far at all if I remember well.  Still a bit of a ways off, but I'll be there before I know it.

We'll have to link up and fly!

Absolutely!

Now that the sim is flying more and the builder (me)  is building less (Contrary to what a certain guy named Bob Reed would have us believe :-) )  It's always ready to go!

Hey Warren,  I live in Tacoma and visit the McCord AFB on the weekends; doing my retired military duty of getting in all the active duty personnel's way...LOL :o

Can't get any closer than that!  We'll have to link up.

Warren, yes that would be great to meet someone with another 737 flight deck; especially in the same area no less!!! Although, I must say that your much more advanced than I am at this point!

Ahhh.  If only.  My basement looks like the Boeing assembly line, but my sim sits unflyable.  I hope to get the floors, yokes and seats back in by this weekend.  Then I need to put some work into my CDUs and finally get my aft overhead hooked up.

I'll get a year of good flying in then I'll have to rip it all apart to ship back to the US.  The trick now that I know when I'm leaving and where I'm going is to push any further upgrades to build 3.0

You'll be more than welcome to help me get it back together again when I get to Fort Lewis

Ah, I get you there!  I'm on build 3.0 myself! I see my sim being about 3 to 4 more months of weekends before I will be taking my first test flight.  Today I am still programming in the I/O boards for the overhead. I hope to get a test start up and shut down in by end of the day.
