Last night I braved the 'Mic Fright' syndrome and decided to pursue the I ratings on PilotEdge, starting with I-1.

The sim performed flawlessly. During the flight I had a chance to sit back and revel in the years of hard work that went into this beast as the Los Angeles night landscape slipped slowly underneath. . It was gratifying to see her behave exactly as the real aircraft would.

My performance was slightly less than stellar, but still resulted in a 'Pass' for I-1.

Going to attempt I-2 this weekend.

That KPSP to KSNA flight was a serious cluster!! But loads of fun!

(Especially when one isn't familiar with SID/STAR procedures yet! :-) )

I-2: Check!

I-3 here I come!
