A great day today!
A friend introduced me to the fantastic people at Aerosimulations, Inc in Tampa!  What an awesome place.  They provide simulators for the Navy and Coast Guard as well as some others and have some pretty sweet sims around the US and the World, as well as their facility in Tampa.  Some nice setups like the T-45 trainer, HH-53 Helicopter, H-144 Jolly Green Giant, S-60 and 65 Helo's, and a C-2 Greyhound!  They have both fixed-base and full-motion.
The cool part was that I got to regale them with stories of my real world Combat Search and Rescue days in several of the platforms they simulate.

I got to spend some time flying the C2 Greyhound.  It is a fixed base but has a 300 degree collimated display (at least that's what I think the engineer said) that allows one to look back out the windows at the props!  I'd never even seen a C2 cockpit but I was able to jump in and fly the pattern at San Diego and put her back onto tarmac, albeit with some floating at the end.    I brought my daughter along to take photos!
