Title: LIVE VIDEO FEED (Worldflight)
Post by: Trevor Hale on October 30, 2013, 08:28:16 AM
Worldflight Live Video Feed is up.  It is my pleasure to report that we have one of the video feeds up.  We will be adding at least one other feed.  The idea is to have one looking out the front and one showing what the pilots are doing.  Please check here: http://worldflight.cockpitbuilders.com/video.html (http://worldflight.cockpitbuilders.com/video.html) for the video feed. This is where all the action will be starting on the 3rd of November.  I hope you all will join us.

Everybody knows the 737-800 flies by itself...  and doesn't the FMC program itself?   Yeah... right  ;D    It should be a good show for those checking in.  Entertaining to say the least.  I'm sure that everyone will do just fine.  That said, it's the 11th hour and a bit late for much more preparation.  So... It will be what it will be...  Which in a positive light, will be a whole lot of fun for one really good cause.

As our friends Down Under say, "No worries Mate!

Couldn't have said it better myself, however I must say that there is still lots of time for more preparation and Bob and I will be using ever stitch of the time left to make it as good as we can.  We want you all to have so much fun that we can do it again next year.  Like you said though....  It is for an amazing cause, and really no matter what happens as long as we can all have a lot of laughs, and raise some good money for a worthy cause, why wouldn't we want to keep doing it.

Since I'm only Single Engine Commercial rated (CSEL), I plan on flying my legs with only the left engine :)  To stay legal and all :)

Bob and I are at the controls for that one.

Trev it will be sim owner and my business partner Richard with Kirk, who is a C3 Vatsim controller, as FO.  Kirk will be on ATC for the YMML (or YMAV) to YSSY run on the last flight.

BTW are you guys using ACARS?  Also watch out for ATC menacing, they're tipped to throw curve balls at as to keep it "interesting"!  :o

Ken, I do not have ACARS set up as of yet. I want to try but have no idea how to get started. Will look at it once I am at the sim. Leave tomorrow. And great, now we have to "fear" the ATC as well......... :)
