hmmmmm.    fifteen hundred bucks, that's 3 grand a pair.
now call me cheap if you want, but i'm sort of wondering who (apart from john travolta) is going to pay 3 grand to fit two of these in the cockpit.......
forgive me if i sound sceptical, but if i even thought about these, my wife's christmas present would be my life insurance money  ;D
but they are a nice light colour and i was wondering how long they would stay that colour with the amount of traffic that goes thru my sim  ;D
the original boeing seats are taking the punishment and staying good ;D
i think i'd use the 3 grand to build a whole new pit......
sorry, it made me smile.....
enjoy your evening chaps....   ian

Maybe it is better "in the flesh" but I do not find it attractive...very bulky too plushy, more Van Captain's chair than Aviation style...My 2¢ opinion of course.
Actually I had a quote from a local little shop to uphoster the cushions of my Webers in dark grey leather and it came out to CAD 400 for both. No sure I will do it though.

Looks like a Love Boat captain's seat. "OK, who stole my chair from the bridge? GOPHER....!"

Only if they are heated, especially in your neck of the woods.

Actually, I'm living in the banana belt these days during the week (good old TO), but even Toronto got belted today. Can't wait to head home to Gravenhurst on the weekend when they are expecting 35-45 cms on Thursday. I need to remind myself now & then why I decided to build a house in Gravenhurst insted of Niagara Falls which is really the banana belt of Ontario.  ::) But I forget why I decided that, so now I'm stuck. Oh yeah, I remember now...it was something about living in a f.....g winter wonderland  ;D

ROFL..  Hilarious..  Yes..  I am sure it had something to do with that.  And I would also imagine you were blinded by your other half telling you how beautiful it is there in the summer time :)  LMFAO.

Well, your not alone buddy..  Happy freeking winter LOL

I find these chairs a bit ridiculous. They belong in long white limo's that are used by women who perform certain services and their "managers" that usually wear great hats and a lot of jewelry.

Why don't all of you just admit it. You REALLY want these badly and you are just finding ways to fool yourselves by finding imaginary faults. I for one would love to put my rear end on one of these beauties as  I sip on a cool drink and watch the beautiful FSX scenery fly by.   ;D

Wow, that's not cheap. In my sim a simple car seat will do it right as it is smaller and easier to install and has a better look !

But nice seat anyway !

Maxime.

LOL, totally is, cause I think these chairs resemble that what you might find on the Enterprise..  Although Mikes comment of Bridge probably referred to a nautical term, mine just played on that to the star trek theme..

:idiot:
