Hi,
I'd like to build a small motorized 737 throttle quadrant , size like the saitek throttle quadrant, slightly larger and it also has to have some switches (fuel lever + parking brake) and potentio meters (for flaps/speedbrake) preferrable working with Prosim737 directly.
But first I'd like to create some sort of test setup with a servo USB card and motor/servo.
What do you recommend: a servo or a DC motor?
Which prosim compatible USB card is perfect for this: servo motor + switch possibility + potentio meters (Pololu?)
If servo/motor: which type?
I prefer just using one USB card if possible.
Regards,
Tim
DC motor, Pololu and a Leo Bodner with JRK controller.
Can't be done with just one USB device.
can you give me some model types?
My TQ works with:
Prosim737
-Pokeys 57U (USB).
-Phidgets 1064 2-motors card for throttle levers (DC motors).
-Phidgets 1065 1-motors card for trim wheel (DC motor).
-Phidgets 1061 8-servo card for speedbrake, trim indicator and flaps indicator.
All of them have libraries to work with .Net and are controlled by my own .Net application (C#)

But if you want it to work with Prosim directly, you probably will be better off with Pololu controllers.
