Hi, I have started to research into rebuilding a Redifon F-5 simulator to FSx or XP. Anyone heard of a similar project?

The cockpit is complete with controls, instrumentation and switches. The computer gear is beyond repair, but it I think (hope) it's should be possible to interface the simulator using commonly available interfaces.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Yes I know, I have just started to look into this myself. I have found some documentation on the Sim, and still looking for more.

The Company Redifon does not exist as such today, I think Thales Group bought the remains some years back. I will contact them to see if any documentation are available.

I was thinking that possibly others have tried to rebuild these military simulators  for recreational use
