Jst sharing an idea while installing my ACPs. :D
Some interfaced modules (pedestal  real units mostly) need connectors if you want to be able to remove them for maintenance, upgrade etc

Computer cables extensions can be handy (see pic) they come in various sizes, 2/4/8 pins up to 24 (PSU) as long as they are extensions with the same male female plugs.

Cutting the wires mid point and soldering one half to the module wires and the other half to the outgoing wires, then plug unplug at will.
These are US made..very good quality.

Hello Jack,

This is a great idea and it also works fine.
I have been using it on and off for various projects.
Another connector worth using is the Centronics type (Parallel printer) it will give 36 connections and one may be able to re-use some of the old printer cables that often lay around. A big advantage is that disconnecting is quite easy but connection is still reliable.

Best Regards,
Marc
