Hi Everyone it's with deepest regret that I inform you of the passing of Frank Cooper.
Frank past away late Thursday evening after a short illness at Brisbane's Wesley Hospital. As some of you are well aware Frank was a major contributor especially in the forums while he was building his 737 cockpit and had a keen following. Frank was always willing to help anyone with suggestions as to the best way to build their sims. He was also a contributor to making the repaints for the Orbx Ai Traffic packs. He had purchased probably every Orbx Product that has been developed and always spoke highly about Orbx products. The Flight sim community will certainly miss his enthusiasm, knowledge and humour.
He had traveled to New Zealand numerous times to help me with my 737 simulator and I'm very appreciative of this. He was in the process of converting from the 737 Ng to the 737 Max and was nearing completion but unable to finish it. He was building the sim using the new Sismo equipment which he was looking forward to flying with.

Sad to loose another one but obviously he showed in his post how he enjoyed his simulator.
RIP Frank.
Frank, thank you for helping me with my sim over the years and I already miss you!
John
Sorry to hear Richard.
I have passed this info onto our Australian Sim builders group, where he was a regular member.
Sad news indeed!

Oh Man that's horrible news. He gave me a lot of info on his NG sim as I was looking to build one. Will miss him.
OMG I woke up this morning to this... I nearly fell of my chair. I remember the video frank posted at Christmas wearing his Santa Hat talking about the MAX.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and he will forever be missed.
Here was Franks's Last post here In February.

Oh my,
That is sad news to hear.
RIP and my condolences to his family.
Sadly I didn't know Frank personally, but I've always read his posts with interest.
So I would like to add my condolences to his family.
Joe.
Very Sad news. I had recently purchased Frank's NG MIP as he had moved on to the MAX build. There will be a void in the community no doubt and he most certainly will be missed. Rest in Peace Frank.
Certainly a pillar of our community.
A reminder to enjoy each and every day going by.
So Long Frank, you will be missed.
It's a big loss for our community.
I knew Frank personally, flew with him in his sim.
We talked in December about my visit to see his new 737 MAX sim when I am next time in Australia...
So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I always enjoyed his videos and enthusiasm for simming.
RIP Brother.
Just saw this. Very sad. Frank was a great guy. He bought my original 737 Overhead FDS panels back in 2016. Will be missed by many I'm sure. Rest in piece Frank and condolences to his family.

I just read this...completely floored. My deepest condolences to his family.
It is indeed sad to lose a loyal customer who became a good friend. I visited Frank and Liz a couple of years back and he showed me his great sim. We used to spend hours on the phone talking about simulators and I started to build a 737MAX TQ for him, it will be a bit of a sad mission finishing it off for someone else. Cheers all, Gwyn
Sorry to hear about his passing.
RIP and our condolences to his family.
I never met him but i am familiar with his videos. Condolences to his family.
Was surfing about Flight Sims and came across Frank's YouTube Channel (even though the link is above). It's amazing that his videos still get automatically recommended.
If you didn't know him, watch some of his videos to see how much he helped everyone.
Hopefully, Richard you can find out how to access Frank's YT Channel account and keep it operational forever. Don't want too see all of his work just disappear...

Hi Richard,
I totally agree with John in regards to Frank's YT Channel. I hope there's a way to keep it going for as long as possible as like John said, it would be very sad to see all his work disappear. I'm the guy who has Frank's NG MIP, and of course your Yokes which I bought through Frank. I still visit the videos for tips as still putting the MIP together over here.
