Raising money idea....

So, in light of recent equipment swaps in my sim, I'm now saddled with a few FlightIllusion items.

Bendix/King COMM/NAV radio
Bendix/King Audio Control Panel
Bendix/King Autopilot Panel

These things rarely fetch market value, yet they are still quite expensive. I'm thinking of conducting a raffle for them. Details to be determined but wanted to find out how the core group feels about this. All proceeds will go towards WF2016 charities of course.

Thoughts? Anyone else have any gear they could possibly donate/raffle?

I like the idea.  I think it is a creative way to benefit the charity and make the items you no longer need available to the next group of builders.

There's several online sites that can host raffles.

Some questions:

1. Shipping costs. Since shipping costs have increased significantly, this might be counter productive.

2. Setting ticket costs. We are a unique group of people (Read: Small) so our interested base is only a fraction of the overall sim community.

If we were raffling off something like a Pro copy of P3D, that's one thing. Raffling off a highly-unique item like a Bendix/King Autopilot (Which won't even come with the controller board), is something different altogether.

Umm Ray.... I never saw this, do you still have any of these items?  can you post pics for me?
