Boston Logan (KBOS) v1.01b for Prepar 3D V3 and V4.
(Freeware.)

This is the first version of the Boston Logan International Airport scenery
created by me with the Scruffyduck Airport Design Editor.
It has been compiled with the Prepar3D V3 SDK BGL compiler
and has been tested on P3D V3 and 4 as well as with MyTraffic6.
It has not been tested on FSX.

The purpose of this endeavor has been to make a substitute scenery
for the stock airport that comes with P3D V3 and 4, since its runways,
taxiways and taxiway designators are not accurate. Also, the commercially available versions
that I have tried give bizzre results in P3D with taxiways "sunk" imto the ground.
I am not sure if this happens with the ORBX libraries or other terrain textures or not,
though some people have reported so. It is possible that this has been corrected by the vendors.
, I do not know.

Emphasis has been made in updating the taxiways and to accurately place
the runways in their proper location. All the Gates are numbered according to the latest
published data contained in the Navigraph Jeppesen Simulator Charts (Feb,2018).
The airport bulidings themselves have not been modeled, and part of the
dwelling belongs to the stock airport. The iconic Logan Tower is still there.
If you expect commercial grade quality in this scenery, then it is not for you.

Some additions were necessary in order to appropriatklley place the gates.
The taxi signs are a "best estimate" but they accurately signal the proper taxiways.
This can be improved if anybody has more precise information of its precise style.
For its creation, some data has been gathered from videos, satellite imagery and pictures widely available
in the public domain. The taxi signs have meen modeled "large" so they can be seen
if low resolution projectors are used.

This is a work in progress, as all airports are.

INSTALLATION.
The scenery is distributed as a zip file which contains the main directory "KBOS" and
two subdirectories: The "scenery" subdirectory which contains three .bgl files and
the "texture" subdirectory that contains the textures.
Do not modify the names of the subdirectories or the scenery will not work.
The directory structure as is, is necessary for the scenery to be recognized by P3D.
Simply decompress the file into the "Addon Scenery" folder of your P3D installation,
It should create a KBOS main directory containing the two aformentioned subdirectories, and this .txt file.
You must then activate the scenery after you start the program. A restart of the simulation is then required.

Feeback will be appreciated.

Enjoy.
