Mmm, someone got their measurements wrong!  I wonder if it comes out of the Captains wages?

Ken.

Lets hope such incompetence is reserved for ground operations  :)

Alan Joyce said the other day that the Q380 with the engine explosion would not be finished with repairs for 18 months.
While not as bad one can imagine the time this one will be on the ground for inspection and repair...

if it does, that captain will be on welfare soon. I imagine the cost to repair part of a wing will be quite hefty unless they use duct tape or course  :)

Really......where was the wing walker? Something with that wingspan, needs to have guys all over.
Love the 3rd pic, would be great for a caption contest.

"I thought you were supposed to be watching the right wing?" "No, it was your turn."
"No it wasn't, I watched that side yesterday."

This is the second wing strike I've seen recently. Remember when that one 380 hit the tail fin of the regional jet?

Airbus needs to fit parking sensors to the wings like we have on the back of our cars.... Only have them sense at longer distances to allow the damned thing to stop.
