Just sharing an idea born out of frustration and that some of you probably had before me :D
Testing circuits, equipment, LEDs , annunciators, backlighting, and God knows what, is always a matter of having the right power adapter, managing wires with alligator clips, doublechecking that voltage, polarity, amps are OK....and avoiding shorts!!
For a modest investment of $15.00 I rigged a 250W PSU which gives me abundant power and color coded test wires for 3,3V 5V 12V .
That unit will stay on the workbench and be used exclusively for testing
Like that idea Jack . . sure easier than dragging out different power supplies. :idiot:
