Is anyone else using Firefox getting blocked from Cockpitbuilders.com by a "badaware" filter or is it just me?
as of today, whenever I try to access cockpitbuilders, I get this page:
(https://www.cockpitbuilders.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi274.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fjj267%2Fwsoeldner%2FForums%2520and%2520Posts%2F32613a54.jpg&hash=19c2e280d9a7817edfd33e0858fd706c52438455)
When I click on the "why was the page blocked" I get this:
(https://www.cockpitbuilders.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi274.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fjj267%2Fwsoeldner%2FForums%2520and%2520Posts%2F014e1ad7.jpg&hash=d65653d39f7d36135ed5854bef6e9ea1f94e528b)
If I click on the "ignore" link, I get to CB.com, but it is not formatted, and another window opens with this:
(https://www.cockpitbuilders.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi274.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fjj267%2Fwsoeldner%2FForums%2520and%2520Posts%2Fb4b004e0.jpg&hash=f602d4d0fd1f41da0861fe98eccb0f919d46ec4a)
If I go into Firefox' security settings and disable blocking, I get to CB.com normally.

There is a link embedded in one of the posts that is causing this. Last time it was the pic we where using for the live ATC link, might even be that again! Will check in a bit.
Is anyone still having this problem?

Yup I did just now...lol
Frig.. I bet it is in the root cockpitbuilders.com/ not in community again. Need to put something in to scan again. The cent os webpage shows the antivirus off.

DON'T turn that back on!! I think it is something in one of the posts I don't think it is a virus. We have virus scanners running that is why that one is off. If you try to run more then one they don't play well together.
Whatever you find, let us know.
If a post is at fault we can learn from that!... ???

FYI, Google Chrome reported the same thing earlier today. Explorer didn't bother...
Yup same here, but clicked ignore.
Note to Admin here, might be wise sending an email out to all members as some people dont dare click the ignore button, probably saw the warning message and ran off :) Just to reassure them things are okay
Hello,
I had a chance to look at everything and no, the site has not been hacked. However there is an image or something somewhere on the site that is hosted on a site that has been hacked. Like the LiveATC link thing before. There is no chance that a image will give you a virus. Just verify that the url at the top says "www.cockpitbuilders.com" if you think something isn't right.
I have not had the chance to fully look into this issue, but I will take a look at it when I am not at work.
Thanks,
Tyler
All,The issue was with a website that hosted a picture in the footer of the page, not with us. regardless, I just want to remind everyone this is one of the main reasons we want our users to try to put your pictures in our media gallery. Try not to link to pictures off the site.. Cause if something happens similar to this, our site gets black listed even though the issue doesn't reside on our server.
Please report any further issues you may have.
