Title: Hey!
Post by: tracker99x on December 30, 2011, 02:16:38 PM
I guess since I joined to lurk and learn, I would introduce myself.  I live in Ontario Canada, I have a private Pilot license and fly about 1 or twice a month.  I have been flight siming for many years and am very impressed with all the simulators I have encountered online.  If I was to every build a simulator it would be based on a twin turbo prop. eithe a Beech King Air C90 or Cheyenne IIXL.  I use the simulator often to practice Procedures.  I am very interested in 6DOF platforms as I beleive to get the best immersion you need the physical ques.  Keep up the great work!!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Jack,    I rent from Chapman Aviation in Arnprior, which is about a 1 hour drive from Petawawa, but it is the closest place I can rent.  Ideally I would like to buy into a share of a 172 or Cherokee, but haven't found anything close enough.

Trevor,  I am guessing you are the other Trevor that's interested in the twin sim?    I did see some pics in the forum of a fuselage that was being trailered.  I think it was a beech baron?  is this your project?

Yes it is my project.  it is a Beech 99.  I picked it up from the Peterborough airport.  I live in New Liskeard, so I didn't have too far to trailer it.
Glad for you to be here.!
