Title: Theme Change
Post by: Trevor Hale on March 20, 2012, 02:52:36 AM

Hey Guys,  I have changed the Theme to eliminate any possibility of the infected files from returning.  Please advise if you notice any big problems with it.

Whoa!  :o  Grey text on dark grey background???
Well, that makes it almost impossible to read.  :'( :'(
Is there a way to choose colors other than global theme change?
I need to save my eyes for the simulator!

Must say going to 125% makes it much better

I quite like it, nice on the eyes after a day looking at backlighting PCB's

I just wish it was a bit wider, finger gets tired on the scroll wheel moving the page up and down.

125% agreed much better

Ditto. Not enough contrast for my eyes.

Agree that contrast/visibility is poor. Said so earlier but it got deleted by mistake  ;)

Also, where has the save post as bookmark icon gone? or perhaps I cannot see it now  ;)

Oh Shoot, Bookmark button is gone.. Ok I will look into that.  As for the Color Scheme, now that I know the site is "Malware free" I am hesitant to go back to the old one.

With that being said, I will try to locate one that better suits you old fogies.

Give me a bit to find/modify something else.  Sheesh...  Don't want much do ya LMFAO.

Hope this one is better, I have to make a couple of alignment changes, but it should suffice.  and the Bookmark button is back LOL.

Trev,

Random question, with the work you have been doing has something changed with the forum sign up process? lost count on how many spammers i have had to shoot today

Sorry to say this. While all this talk was going on, I never had a problem. No warnings at all from my antivirus software Symantec EP, Windows 7 Ultimate or Firefox 10.0.1 during this whole time. And this at work, but no problems at home either. Today I click on my bookmark for Cockpitbuilders and immediately I get the Firefox malware warning screen telling me its a threat. Leading me to stopbadware.com and another warning. Not to mention that every few seconds a bar appears up to with an orange Loading text and then disappears again.

Hmmm  Nothing should have changed form an operational view, just that maybe some of them were scared off by the infected warning files.  Who knows.  I will say though, that I think they come in waves.  The thing is, in order for them to post that crap, they have to go through the entire registration process.  Are you banning their asses? or just deleting the posts?

That is strange, cause they are fine for me.  Do you mean you can't click on the first post in the Recent post list?  Cause that all works fine for moi!  I will see what I can do to emmulate that issue.

The Orange Bar is supposed to be there Efe..  thats the draft auto saving.  But as for the Malware, I will be ticked if it comes back.  anyone else have an issue like that?

No warnings of malware with Internet Explorer but a warning comes up with Google Chrome. Hope this does not mean going back to gray on gray scheme  :(

And a few minutes later, no more warnings on Chrome anymore. This is very bizarre.

Yep first one ony , the mouse hasno action.
If I change ratio to 75 or 125% I do not have the problem! only at 100%

Firefox 11 is giving the warning, but I think only cause Google has listed the site a bad.

I am going to blow away the site, and start fresh (Keeping the database as it is)  But going to remove everything else.

Its still hiding somewhere and I am about the end of my rope with this..

Give me a bit and I will see what horseshoe I can pull out of my ass.

Trev

PS.  No more Grey on Grey Mau... Just saying LOL

Trev

Google Chrome is still giving me the warning
Sorry!

Edit - The warning says that the admin of the site have been told, so its probably not been updated

David, thats cause google still has the site blacklisted.

when they remove the warning, when they feel like it.  things should be back to normal.
