Title: How to turn off red labels on traffic ???
Post by: Pilotgil on April 20, 2012, 05:30:38 PM
Does anyone know how to turn off the "red" traffic labels on the airplanes flying around our MSFS sky?

Edit your fs9/fsx.cfg file...

HideInfoText=1

there you go.

The settings is under the Traffic option of the display settings

Hmmm....

I tried the "HideInfoText=1" to turn off the silly Red Traffic Labels next to the airplanes flying around the FS Sky but it didn't work...I'm sure I did it wrong...

Here's what I did, if someone could help, I would appreciate it:

[DISPLAY]
UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=20
TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40
HideInfoText=1

Does it belong here? This is in my FS9.cfg file. Thanks!

Hi, that actually goes under the [MAIN] Section of Fs9.cfg, and my mistake, that removes the text like parking brakes on, and zoom factors..  Not the red aircraft tags.  I am sorry my mistake.  Follow the direction by Sean, goto Display Settings, pick the traffic tab (Where you select how much traffic you want) and uncheck the box that says display aircraft tags.
