Post by: Trainmanoz on April 21, 2012, 01:53:19 PM
Morning all for Oz,
My name is Scott, live in sunny Australia.  At last check i am 36 :)
Currently have a number of parts so am i hoping that i can turn it into a flight sim soon.
Been flight simming for a while, but this is my first real attempt at building a simpit.  Also first real time on adding to forums.

Will post all further details later.

Happy to be here

Hi Scott, last I checked I wasn't 36  :o.  Welcome to the pit building community and your first time to forums.  What part of this sunny country are you from?  There are a few of us here in sunny (and dry) Perth.  Also what sort of aircraft are you keen to build?

Ken.

Thanks all for the welcome.

My build is more like a bunch of parts awaiting my Man Cave to be finsihed off.

So far I have:
Flight Sim hardware:
F-16 Cougar HOTAS
SIMPED Pedals
Thrustmaster MFD Pack

I found an old Thrustmaster Cockpit shell on Ebay... and it was cheap too... Nearly had a heart attack when the freight company nearly lost it.

And I have a real (ex L-39) ejection seat to put into it..

So you think we all that I would make a F-16 pit..  ;D  But I need some creative juices to flow I think...

Would like to add a Heavy flavour to it as well...   Or I can alway put in a 2nd pit..... :)

Once I start I will be sure to post some photos.

Cheers

Oh and to answer Kennair, I am on the other side... Up in Townsville.
