Thanx to Jack, I been busy trying to make my MIP wiring look somewhat as nice as his...haha, just joking!
Seriously tho, I'm at the stage of wiring up my MIP, so after reading comments from here and talking to the guys at FDS, I knew I needed to slot in some fusible links to my 5 volt and 12 volt rails.
So, I bought a distribution box and mounted two rails (I blew it, I now find out I've left out the negative rail, so I'll be correcting that on Tuesday) and then instead of fusible links I bought circuit breakers, which were also mounted in the lid of the box.
I then added the keyed switch for my PSU and ran the wires back to the molex connector on the power supply (orange and black).

Then I added the PSU keyed switch

And lastly, I added 3 circuit breakers. One for the 5 volt rail, one for the 12 volt rail and a spare

Will now finalise all of my wiring in the next few days and start connecting to the Tekworx software.

I'm hoping to start hooking up the Sys card to the PC and setting up my software in the next week.

Whoops...forgot to add a negative terminal block in the box, so I moved the other two over and will fit an extra block tomorrow, when the shops are open again.
I also meant (in the pics) that i'd be hooking the green wire and earth up, to the keyed switch. I especially like the idea of being able to turn the PSU on and off via this easy method.

Ok, Jack, you got my attention...what do you mean by that?
Can I also ask one of the guru's here, with the 'Lights Test Switch' on the MIP, is it a two position and a third spring loaded or is it a three position switch?
I have a double spring loaded switch in there, but I think that's wrong because you can't keep the lights on dim in the spring loaded position.

You can simulate the battery on off with these two wires as the PSU will only comes alive if there is a contact.
Test light switch is mom for test only.

Having a lot of trouble finding an (ON ON MOM) switch for the lights test/bright/dim switch on the MIP.
Any ideas where I can get one, guys?
