Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how the Fuel Valve Cut Off Levers operate on a real TQ?
What I mean is, do they pull out under a spring tension, or are they simply located in a slot at each end of the metal gate?
I'm building a new motorized TQ and want to get everything as near as possible to the real operation.
Thanks
Joe.
Hi Joe,
The levers do have a spring built in them that pulls them inward into their detents. They move a set of wheels that engage switches down in the base. You can make them out in my video where I explain their working here:

Scott that video is brilliant for getting an insight into how everything works in the TQ. Good of you to take the time to pas this very valuable information on.
You're correct Mike I didn't get that reply, I assumed you were busy flying ;) If you get a chance to resend it that would be great. :)

Joe.

Glad to help out. I always wanted to know how the guts worked so when I got the TQ I figured I would record it so everyone else could see as well.
Need to find a way to get videos like this saved here at CB.

Joe,
Here is that pic you never got :) If you notice there slightly different on newer models than the older ones like Scott and myself have. I think I was in an 800 that night.. maybe a 900.. Either way there the same..
