Title: Pokeys 56U, Prosim737, and servos
Post by: fsaviator on November 22, 2012, 03:25:55 PM
Is anyone using a a pokeys 56U card to drive gauge servos in Prosim?  I see alot about it being possible, and the use of PWM values, but nowhere does anyone actually say they are using them.

My MIP gauges are set to be driven by an OC servo card, but I have decided to use a PoKeys card for my DU brightness controls so I was hoping to just pull the OC card out of the mix and use the PoKeys to control all my miscellaneous stuff.

Thanks.

Hello Warren,

I'm working on a extension board to drive 16 servos via the I2C circuit that all PoKeys have. Only 2 ports are needed on the PoKeys. The extension board has a separate controller so that the board can handle the movement of the servos on it's own.

Don't know however when it will be ready, it's not so easy

Regards, Wendy

Hi Wendy!  Happy New Year.

I am back at it and ready to tackle this again.  Any news on the servo expansion card?

If you get a 57E you use FSSymphony soon as he is adding I2C 16ch 12bit servo support!!!!  14.95 for the servo board   Amazing!
