Hi Warren -

I'm located about 1.5 hrs away in Williamsburg VA....southeast of Fredericksburg.  If you have the time you are certainly welcome to stop by.

I have a lot that is worthwhile to see....dual seat 737NG pretty much fully operational now interfaced with Sim-A.  Features 135 degree curved screen visuals using WideView, a SimParts motorized throttle (home assembled), and an assortment of equipment from FDS, CPFlight, SimParts, and FlightIllusion.

I am also presently working on conversion of a real 737 quadrant I acquired this past fall. The mechanical conversion part is completed and I am working on the electonic interface at this point.  It uses DC motors to drive the throttles. I am very pleased with how that project is turning out.  I have done some things differently from what has been shared here previously (will get around to posting all that at some point).

Interesting day today.  Unfortunately, I have been rerouted to somewhere else so I won't be making it to Virginia this trip.  Fred, I make it to the DC area more than I care too, so I'll take a rain check.

So... who's in Tel Aviv?

Tell me about it...  I mean can you believe that instead of working on my new sim computer at home, or battling I-95 traffic in Virginia, I'm stuck in high 60-degree weather, on a clear day watching the beach traffic in Tel Aviv.

The other plus is I get to watch traffic fly by about 100 feet away at eye level landing at Sde-Dov Airport (SDV/LLSD)
