Title: Solenoid switches
Post by: AVIATor-Olav on April 03, 2013, 07:10:44 AM
Does anyone know which pins to power up to make the swithes stay in the on position?

It's the HDG and ALT hold switches on my SP-50 auto pilot unit.

Any help is appreciated.

On mine it reads pin 4 and 5 -28V
12V works also
1) check for legends on the switch
If not
2) try to locate switch action (on Off) with a multimeter and try the other pins with 12V. If you want to play safe
3) remove all attached wires and test
4) contact Michael he may have it.

Thanks!

On mine it reads 7 & 8 - 28V

What I hadn't done was to remove all the old wires on the back of the switches. I've done that now, and they both work! :) Now I can interface my Autopilot properly.

Thanks again!
