Hi guys,
I have build a new rig and tried to get display lite 2 to work. Have weird issue with FS9. When sim is up and running with display lite 2, pushing shift + z to get FPS shown, screen went black. Also if i push period (brakes) it make same. Looks like FS key commands somehow effect display lite 2 ?
About my rig.
SSD #1 = windows 7 64-bit and display lite 2
SSD #2 = FS9, Fsuipc
VGA port 1 = 17" lcd
VGA port 2 = beamer
Everything running okay except got this weird issue with key commads.
Hope to get some help with this. Thank's
Marco
Did you contact Fly Elise?
Those FS key commands shouldn't be mapped in Display lite 2

Hi Nat,
Yeah, i have send mail to Nikola, no replay yet.
Okay, key commands work without problems , if i use full screen mode. But... now my FPS jumping from 29 to 60, my 17" screen goes black and i got these weird stripes on sky (no stripes with windowed mode). Am sure those stripes have something to do with 64-bit and FS9. Is there some way to fix this? Marco
Wrong screen settings, no problem with stripes anymore :-[
Anyone with FS9 and display lite2?
Do you get AA-mode "override any application setting" from inspector to work without black screen with display lite2?
If it works w/out any problem, what display driver you're using?
How about users with FSX, do i need to go for FSX to get things working, if this is FS9 issue?
I am very happy with Display-Lite 2 and FSX in my 210 deg. VOF 3840x800 p. projector setup. I run it on 3 FSX-WideView clients full screen only (and scenery only) combined with a FSX-WideView server (no scenery). Graphics: GeForce 660 cards for the clients. All settings according to Kosta's manual, ref. http://kostasfsworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/ni-setting1.jpg (http://kostasfsworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/ni-setting1.jpg) (AA-mode: "override any application setting"). I always have frame rates > 30 fps. So I can fully recommend Display-Lite 2 in this configuration. See also: http://www.cockpitbuilders.com/community/index.php?topic=3219.0. Thanks Edward. Dunno what to do, i just update my rig, got new beamer and move from XP 32bit to win7 64bit etc. Spending much to get only problems. Spending much more again if i move to FSX. Maybe i give up or take a break
One month hell is over :P
I finally solved the problem. If someone else have these kind of problem, update your display driver to 296.10. No performance hit and good image quality. Finally i can go on with my sim ;D
