Hello All
Part way through rebuild of cockpit and am using Project Magenta for the display.
I am having trouble finding the acual sizes of the main flight instruments, I would like to know if anyone has a definitive size for the AI, Altimeter, ASI, VSI on the main panel of the Baron 58 and if possible the size of the smaller instruments for the engines ie, the RPM, VAC, Temp etc.
I have been looking for Bezels to finish off the panel and so far can only find 57.15 mm bezels with a 55mm cutout and then larger ones 82.5 mm dodecahedron with 74 mm cutouts.
I really want to be able to set all of my bezels into the panel and have it look about right size wise and am concerned that the bezels I have seen so far may be too big or too small.
If anyone can give me a definitive size for these instrments I would be very grateful. I am not sure if I can get onto our local airport at Bristol these days so it would save me a lot of agro.
As ever many thanks in advance

Don't know anything about a Baron in particular, but most instruments are nominally in 1" increments, and 3" is by far the most typical. The face is generally about 1/8" less; the opening in the panel and the instrument case about 1/8" over. If you want to include the bezel in the size of the face, add 1/4".
So a 3" altimeter has a face diameter of 2 7/8" and a bezel about 3 1/4" across. Seemed simple when I started. :)
Hope to be of help...
