Title: In for a treat
Post by: ivar hestnes on September 08, 2013, 12:53:02 PM
Hi guys

Not posted so much lately, as I am busy refurbishing my house, and maintain my old cars. And also my regular work the last year is eating a lot of my time. But as you know, I have been collecting alot of stuff the last two years for building a new sim. And now my panels is coming together. My first project will be the MCP, just because its a cool item to start with, and it can be used right away,

And... voila... the panel is now ready for me to start playing with. Phil has done an absolutely fantastic job on this, and it will use proper Eaton switches. Now winter can sneak on to me, as I am in for a treat building on this panel  :)

Also overhead, aft OH, MIP and pedestal will follow later. Overhead is well into the making. Will take some time before I have time to start building, but when my new hobbyroom is refurbished, I will make some build postings. Looking forward to have something to show again. Been a while now...

Enjoy the pictures on the link below.

Amazing pictures Ivar! I'm also working on mcp project but it's still only on the drawing table.

Would you mind to share where you got the Eaton switches from?

Well done!!!

Anders

Thanks guys.
Looking forward to start building again. Good times coming :-) Phil is supplying me with a complete set of 737 panels, and I am very pleased with having his quality to build on. I dont want any plug and play, USB stuff on my next project, as I dont want to be doomed by various manufacturers software-drivers. So it will be even more fun thinking out all the various interfacing this time. More work... more fun... better quality... better flight experience...    :)

The Eatons I find on Ebay.
