I recently picked up some Arduino boards and needed a bunch of jumper cables. All the local stores had them priced at 20 wires for $10 US (or similar pricing). After searching around the net, there are a bunch of sellers in China selling these jumper wires on eBay at 65 wires for <$5 US (including shipping!)!! I just received a batch of them... haven't hooked them up yet, but at least visually they look perfectly fine.
Worth a look if you need jumper wire, breadboards, headers, etc.
