Title: Pokey 56u power
Post by: milezee on December 28, 2013, 02:24:43 PM
Quick question regarding pokeys card pin outs. The 5v and 3v pins, is this in or out. i have a pc psu that i am powering various devices with, should i supply 3v and 5v to the card or does it take what it needs from the usb connection?
I've check the documentation and googled a bit but it doesn't seem clear.

These are outputs for switching and supplying potentiometers etc.

The 56U gets all the required power from the USB interface. Only the 56E needs external power.

I've also got the wendy led extension board. I've got it wired up as it should be but my leds are really really dim.
I checked the voltage across the led and its only 0.9 v which seems too low.
My PSU to the board is all ok at 5v.
Led is fine straight from the pokey board.
Any ideas?
