Post by: NZ_Pilot on January 07, 2014, 04:31:32 PM
Please Help

I am looking for some pilot headset jacks for my piper seneca ii sim but, there's a catch, the mic jack is a 5.5mm... does anyone know where i can find these, i can only find 6.5mm standard jacks.

I got mine from the US, but it was with a bit of other gear/

Buying just the jack might be a bit expensive shipping wise.

Did you try Ruscool in NZ?

Are you talking about the female plug (the hole you plug the headset into)?

mouser part # 502-S-12B

or for the actual plug:

mouser part # 502-S-260

These are three conductor.  You can also get two conductor and single conductor.

-that was interesting, the site wouldn't let me post the actual links...  never seen that before
