Guys, found this link. Not sure if they are useful, but HDMI or VGA connections on the break out board.

Thanks Trevor - those should be much better than ones from alibaba.com for about the same price.

It's a shame those aren't 4:3 displays - they'd be perfect for a G1000.

I Agree, I am trying to find a monitor for my FMC Not easy LOL

I should have specified "rationally priced" and not "EarthLCD" prices. :)
Paying 30" LCD prices for a 10.1" is insane. Not only that, the 10" displays they have can't be used for G1000 displays because they're not 1024x768 displays - which is what the G1000 uses.

I was going to say something..... But Didn;t I thought the 249$ for the FMC Monitor was a little pricy LOL. I may just stick with my psOne Screen LOL
I have a half dozen of these. http://www.good-lcd.com.cn/product/267449720-200611716/5_6_inch_LCD_display.html (http://www.good-lcd.com.cn/product/267449720-200611716/5_6_inch_LCD_display.html)
They are fantastic. I can put you in contact with Lisa Wang at Good Display. She'll help with whatever you need. I'm not sure of they still have this version, but they'll have a replacement if not. I paid under $50 a piece for a 5" LCD.
I have one in each of my OC FMC's, I used one for the original GNS-500 that preceded the marketed ones in an old simpit I built, I have another two I was going to use for Clocks in my sim.
Actually, if you want I can sell you a couple as I won't need the ones for clocks.
I'd love to find a vendor of 1:1 displays that didn't think they were made (and thus priced!) out of ground Unicorn horn...

Thanks Warren, Good information.

NO problem. Not so much about availability, but of vendor reliability. As we all know, some of these vendors can be hit or miss, but I've never had a problem with Good Display.

Another alternative is to have a custom cut LCD panel for your upper and lower EICAS. This will be the solution I install this summer. Cost is high, perhaps $1,500 each - but the result of having a wide viewing angle on these displays and a true fit in my 100% scale cockpit will be worth it.
How are you doing to make this kind of LCD panel, to whom do you turn?
You're off on that price by quite a bit. A few people over at Viperpits did some research a few years ago and they found that a cut-down panel would run them about $15,000. This started an investigation in a DIY cutting process, but I never found out if they were successful.

These are only 800x 600 but they're cheap...

The problem is that systems like the Garmin G1000 and some of the Avidyne offerings require a 1024x768 display. Even their flightsim du jour counterparts.

I was thinking more for the lower EICAS screen. ;D
