Title: Twin Otter Build
Post by: Mark Hurst on January 09, 2015, 01:21:08 PM
I can't seem to figure out how to embed videos here, but here's the inaugural flight (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPyEin_Xpts) of my Twin Otter cockpit. And if you want the backstory...

The development blog (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy5yqXwYq-sHlzzEEXwCBOxJ0M1L4p324).

Hi Mark,

Great to see the state of things with your build - looks very nice indeed! I've watched your vids on YouTube, and even though I'm going the slightly more "traditional" way of building a 737 cockpit, you've shown some useful hints & tips and in the process contributed in helping me overcome my fear of soldering, making the hardware work with the software etc., as well as accepting the natural emotional ups & downs that accompany cockpit-building... 8)

Cheers!

Thanks for the comments. The soldering is pretty straightforward unless you want to use those fiddly little dual concentric controls!
