Hi guys..
I gather most people are doing 737 sims
are there any one doing 777 ?
I like the long range versions ,
as would like to do Australia to US, and UK eventually , long haul flight.
is it as easy to get 777 sim parts as it is for a 737?
Hi
well, parts of the 777 are hard to find right now. 757 / 767 are more likely to be found.
737 is most popular, at least because of the numbers sold. If you would like a long range, perhaps 747-400 could be another approach. Parts from the jumbo are showing up out there on regular bases at the moment. Lot of carriers are retiring their old 747th.

Hi,
Some 777 parts are similar or close like Yokes and columns from 767/757, some electronics components like fire handles and etc.
I am very happy with FDS MIP and structure, some real yokes and 767 throttle. I know throttle slight different but ...
So combination of perfect FDS replica parts with some real parts makes good feeling and look.

Hi heres my two cents worth...
Question are you going to use real parts ? If using real parts the 75/76/74 are your only options T7 parts really really expensive
If simulated.. then you have options if doing the T7 then best get as much as you ca from the one provider if the 73 is your cup of tea then you have many options ad a lot more support
it will be simulated... as much as I'd like the real deal ..
on Wikipedia it says
737 Next Generation (-600/-700/-800/-900ER)
3,050–5,510 nmi
cause if I can do a 777 I can fly to say from sydney to Dubai in one go
then to London..
or from sydney to LA
the 777-9 series says
8,200 nmi
my planes, will be mostly VIP Celebratory , executives etc like a business type jet that Boeing's have ..
Choice based on range?
-Will you stay seated alone in your 777 sim for 10+ hours, when real airlines have a crew of 4 pilots on such routes ?
-Why not "refueling" a 737 Sim in flight ?
My 2¢ is that there are many other factors to consider before starting such a project

Ditto to what has been said. I'm building a 777... Real 77 parts are SUPER RARE and can get very expensive. Many of the parts I use are from the 767/747-400. Much less information available than the 737 as well. I have no regrets though. Every new acquisition is a celebration! Very challenging yet very rewarding.
