Title: Small Milestone
Post by: Bob Reed on May 17, 2015, 09:58:03 AM
Not that I am building a 737 but... With Worldflight coming up I decided I need to become better with the aircraft. So I have had an old FlyPFC MCP unit sitting here. I obtained a Flyengravity CDU as well a few weeks ago. So last night I made a serial cable and hooked up the MCP, fired up my good ole Project Magenta and bam... I have a working MCP and EFIS. CDU is working as well. Maybe I will be a little more comfortable in the cockpit this year. We will see if I get time to actually do something with all this hardware......

Go to it Bob, that's how I started.
The magazine asked me to build something for an article, so I built a TQ, that was a sucess, so they said do something else... etc.
Now I have a full cockpit ;D

Cheers
Joe
