Title: Any use : 737 CpFlight MCP Pro icw non motorized reverse levers
Post by: GSalden on May 21, 2015, 09:25:22 PM
Hi all,

Currently I have the MCP EL and was thinking of upgrading to the PRO version.
The MCP PRO has an automated AT switch which the EL has not.

I do have a motorized TQ , but it have no motorized reverse levers.
Therefore I always switch AT off at 150 ft..

Is there any use of upgrading ?

Thanks,

Hi GSalden,

The reverse levers are not motorised, they are operated by the pilot after landing.
If you're using the autopilot, the auto throttle should automatically disconnect on touchdown.

Cheers

Joe.
