I noticed that there are a lot of familiar names here. Some of you will know me from other forums.
My 738NG simulator is based on FSX and a combination of Phidgets, OC and homemade electronics and software. Well that's how it should become. For now it consists most of parts that have to come together sometime.
Most parts I construct myself from Acryl, PVC and aluminum. Currently building all the panels for my MIP and working on a flap gauge right now. To help me with all this I make use of my Colinbus profiler CNC which I bought in september last year.
Hope that I can contribute something to this forum and learn things, that I'm not familiar with, from the experts.
I'll post some pictures very soon about things I've constructed so far.
Regards, Wendy

Hello Wendy and welcome.
I have seen some of your work so far and it is excellent. It will be really exciting to follow your progress here.
Best Regards,
Scott
Hey Ian, well for the moment it is snowing again. They say the earth is warming up, at least not in Belgium for the moment.
Hey Scot, I'll be happy to show you all my progress. Very soon.
Thanks, Wendy
Hi Wendy
Glad to welcome you onboard.
I saw the Wx reports for Europe....well let's say that you have a sample of what we get here in Canada for 5 months a year. Just woke up and the thermometer shows -18°C. Piece of cake here!
Same as Ian, the workshop is a bit cool these days, I have a little electric heater but it takes time to make it comfortable.
Cheers and show us your pics, always appreciated and motivating.
Jack
Hi Wendy, After watching you progress with your OpenCockpit "Issues" I knew you were made for this Hobby. Great to have you here, and please feel free to get as much help as you can from this Elite group.
Best regards,
Trev
Thanks Trev, glad to be here. When I started with this amazing hobby I soon had a lot of different hobbies all for building that ultimate flight simulator. So interesting.
Regards, Wendy
It is very interesting, and I have to be honest, I was sure you were ready to throw in the towel with all of that. But because you didn't and you managed to get it all sorted, you really showed that Building the Ultimate simulator was in your blood. It won't be the last hurdle you face, but as long as you don't let it get to you, nothing else matters.
I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of your progress.
Trev
I don't give up that fast. If I want something to work then no matter what but sooner or later I will get it to work.
There is a little spell that says, "If there is no road, I'll build one". Wel that's me :)
Hey Jack,
I missed your post. Thanks for the welcome.
Temperature here in Belgium is already 2 weeks below 0° Celcius. We are not used to that and I definitely want to see the sun again.
Kind regards, Wendy
That is very good advice, and I applaud you for that attitude, as Hobby Sim building is not for the faint of heart! Great stuff.
LOL you are not used to below 0 temperatures... Eish it was -27 Celsius here last night.. You would definitly turn into a snow man here :)
Hey Wendy :)
Hey Phill, nice to see you here also.
