Title: Pilot and Co-pilot headsets- how to connect to same PC
Post by: argileh on June 12, 2015, 08:45:45 AM
Hi everyone,

Any idea how I can have two headsets (with microphones) installed so that they can be used for communication inside the home cockpit between captain and FO .

Can it it be done thru the same PC, or do I need something different.

Thanks

Buy two commercial pilot headsets and a portable intercom, like  SL400

Or a cheap USB audio interface that adds a second audio device to you flightsim computer. Too bad I can not figure out how to post a ebay link here properly. Anyway just do a search on the bay "USB audio interface" there are dozens and most under $10.00

That is a really nice one, but yes, it would work.

Cheap solutions will not provide intercom functionality between CPT and FO. A portable intercom like the SL400 is almost plug and play. With two pilot headset it is 300,- EUR solution. Not cheap but with all the functions your requested and excelent sound quality.

You can purchase intercom exchange boxes from various places. We also sell a version.
