Title: Emergency lighting
Post by: jackpilot on July 10, 2015, 05:06:50 AM
For the first time I had a total Power failure at home while flying.
All went dark of course.
Trawling for ideas about an emergency light which would switch on automatically.

Hi Jack -

Simply install an emergency light:

These are very cheap and look very cockpit-like.

Good idea Fred!

I have a pax emergency light from a 767 kicking around (needs 110 400hz though), I should just replace the guts with some LEDs, batteries and relay that will kick over when it senses city power is off.

Cheap and looks spec!
