Post by: Waynesimstructor on January 15, 2010, 05:11:47 PM
hi, im having trouble getting my 737 tq fuel levers to work in fsuipc.

could someone give me the correct terms to use from the drop down list in fsuipc?

we are using momentary buttons on a real 737 tq.

Mixture #(1,2) Mixture Full Rich

Mixture #(1,2) Mixture Full Lean

This could also be listed as 'Throttle' instead of mixture at the beginning of the command, but I think it's Mixture.

hi wayne.....
dont know if this will help you, but here goes.....
i have two microswitches on my fuel levers which switch when the levers are
in the cutoff position.   these are attached to a BU0836X.
fsuipc sees the buttons, on the right side of the box, check for FS Control.
then in the dropdown menu for when button pressed, select Offset Byte Set.
in the offset box, put x3590 for engine 1 (and x3594 for engine 2) and in the
parameter box put either 1 for ON or 0 for OFF.
then in the When Button Released Box, same proceedure, but reverse the parameter.
simple control, either turns the eng1 & 2 Fuel Valves either on or off.
this will work with stock aircraft (and a whole load of add-ons), but if you are using
one of the 'upmarket' packages, just substitute their offset if they use one, but my
guess is the will not.
hope it works for you .....    ian
